The Detroit Red Wings positioned Jakub Vrana on waivers Tuesday mid-day to aid cut the bench to 23 gamers prior to Wednesday’s fight versus the New Jersey Devils at Little Caesar’sArena
Vrana got in the NHL/NHLPA gamer help program on October 19, as well as there was no schedule for his return. Though he’s back within the Wings company after clearing waivers, it doubts what the 26-year-old’s future holds. When inquired about his time in the gamer help program, Vrana claimed, “There’s bigger things than hockey in life. … You’re gonna deal with some things that is sad, that is bigger than hockey.”
