The Japanese star will play for Il Bisonte Florence

Ishikawa is the second Japanese athlete to ever compete for Il Bisonte, after setter Naoko Hashimoto, who defended the membership’s colors in 2020-2021. Ishikawa can be the second new overseas addition to Il Bisonte’s 2023-2024 roster. They have already introduced the arrival of 22-year-old 1.89m-tall German worldwide exterior Lina Alsmeier from Palmberg Schwerin, in addition to a number of Italian additions like center blockers Alessia Mazzaro and Nausica Acciarri, and playmakers Ilaria Battistoni and Beatrice Agrifoglio.
